Thank you for your reply.Doing what I think the KB suggested, I; (1) verified my user account is an Admin with full rights to the specified directory, and (2) modified the specified directory and un-selected 'read-only'.Then I rebooted and attempted the installation again. This resulted in the exact same error, 'Installer Failed to Initialize'Then I ran the 'Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool' again, and here are the new results. Can you suggest a next step?GenWWCombined-enUS-201Thu Aug 07 12: Please enter (y) for Yes or (n) for No.

Kaylef by default Windows hides the hidden directories. You will need to have the option on to view hidden files and folders.Unless there are any additional errors it still appears you are facing a file permission failure. If the same error is occurring in a new User account then it is unlikely that you will be able to recover from this error with your current Windows installation. We don't provide direct one to one support any longer for Creative Suite 5.5. However can you please verify the contact information under your account is correct and confirm that is the case in this discussion. I will request a member of our support team to contact you to verify the steps you have performed. Please be aware that the turn around time for this request is two to three business days. If you need to use your Adobe Creative software by Sunday then I would recommend either formatting and reinstalling Windows or utilizing the software on a different computer. If you can also locate the updated PDApp.log and post the error I would be happy to review any new errors which you discover.
Reviewing your installation log, utilizing the procedure I have posted previously, it seems your installation log is filled with the following error:3/10/2012 08:38:40 FATAL Setup - Errors faced in OS requirement checks. Exiting. What version of Photoshop are you trying to install? According to the installer it is finding that you do not meet the minimum system requirements for the software you are trying to install.I also saw references to difficulty deleting specific directories which could be a permission issue with your account. So once you have identified and rectified the system requirement issue you may also want to try the installation with a freshly created administrator account.
