But anyway it is no longer available. AltDVB was not updated for more than 10 years, Kingofsat has changed something on their side, which has spoiled that AltDVB option.
There is some trick that give an ability to use transponder INI files from fastsatfinder.com, details are available here, but only in polish languageBasically you have to open file WebLinks.cfg in Notepad and add new line:TPU FastSatFinder It may not work for all satellites. Main condition is that satellite position in AltDVB must be equal to position at FastSatFinder website.Blindscan is not available in AltDVB, I'm not aware of any solution for this. Maybe if somebody would be extremely knowledged and devoted. There is available open source code of device module for AltDVB , which was created from scratch by some user called Diodato and then continued by our well-known DX hero - crazycat (code is freezed at some point in 2013 year). Theoretically it could be possible to add some blindscan window as part of Device Settings + linkage to StreamReaderEx library from crazycat. But I'm afraid that amout of work is too big, compared to very little interest from users. Though I would be eager to donate/pay for something like this - open source, so it would be possible to extend/update this I did an attempt to build that old source in VS2017, but MS has cutted out come DirectShow header files.
I've managed to bring them all together, but then another string of missing header files was reported. I've got no time for this right now, maybe someday.It is worth to mention that AltDVB website is alive (.
FellowMembers, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about postingeverything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give youdifferent Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cardsand USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information thatothers may need.
